§ Mr. AtkinsResponsible driving is the key to improving motorway safety. We announced a comprehensive package of measures last year to help drivers. These included advice leaflets, videos, extra driving tuition, roadworks safety, signing requirements and 70 mph repeater signs.
A further development to which I attach particular importance is better information for drivers on what is ahead.
