220W
§ Mr. FreemanThis information is not held centrally, although we recognise the need to safeguard, by proper counselling, those at risk of developing or transmitting a hereditary disease such as Huntington's Chorea. Therefore, in the light of rapid advances in clinical genetics and the growth of interest in screening, we have initiated a review of the genetic services currently available in the NHS to see if central guidance on the scope and organisation of these services is required.
