§ Mr. CurryMy right hon. Friend, like his predecessor, maintains regular contacts with the food industry, including on occasions meeting representatives from individual companies to discuss matters of mutual concern. During the past year at such meetings, particular emphasis has been put on all aspects of food safety and protection of the consumer.
