§ Mr. Peter LloydSection 44(2) of the British Nationality Act 1981 relieves the Home Secretary of the obligation to assign any reason for the grant or refusal of any application under this Act where the decision is at his discretion. My right hon. Friend is not prepared to make an exception in this case.
