To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list the total number of(a) full-time farmers and (b) part-time farmers in each district council area of Northern Ireland.

[holding answer 15 November 1989]Agricultural census data for Northern Ireland are not at present analysed by district council area. Analyses are available by rural districts and counties and the relevant figures for 1989 are provided in the accompanying table. An analysis by district council areas will be produced in early 1990.
