To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what Overseas Development Administration support was provided to the Government of Nigeria for water control and extraction projects in each year since 1979; and if he will make a statement on the operation of these projects.

None. But we have just agreed to fund a consultancy in support of a proposed World Bank rehabilitation project in Nigeria.
