asked Her Majesty's Government:

When they expect to arrange Consular access to Mrs. Daphne Parish and Mr. Farzad Bazoft, a British subject and a British Protected Person, who have been held incommunicado in Iraq for six weeks.

We obtained access to Mr. Bazoft on 8th November. We continue to press vigorously for access to Mrs. Parish without delay. Mrs. Parish is a British national who is entitled to full consular protection and legal representation under International Law. Mr. Bazoft is an Iranian in exile who has a British Travel Document and British connections. We have sought access to him on humanitarian grounds.
