§ The Attorney-GeneralThe interdepartmental committee on family and domestic jurisdictions, part of whose terms of reference was to examine the feasibility of the establishment of a unified court for the exclusive exercise of jurisdiction in family and domestic matters, last met in August of 1988. The four Departments represented on that Committee were the Lord Chancellor's Department, the Department of Health and Social Security, the Home Office and the Treasury.
