To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many people have died from AIDS in the Province in the last three years.

Mr. Needham

Over the past three years seven people in the Province are known to have died from causes associated with AIDS.

Mr. Parry

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what is the number of people suffering from AIDS in the Province at the latest available date.

Mr. Needham

At 10 November 1989 a total of 14 people in the Province had been diagnosed as having AIDS.
