To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what proposals he has for increasing the projected budget for the Energy Efficiency Office for the next financial year.

The budget for the Energy Efficiency Office in 1990–91 is being reviewed in the public expenditure survey. A statement on the outcome of the survey will be made shortly.
