HC Deb 10 November 1989 vol 159 c818W
Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many(a) letters and (b) telephone calls have been received by his Department in the last three months concerning Government policy towards Kampuchea; and how many of these supported the policies of Her Majesty's Government.

Mr. Maude

We have received more than 3,600 letters and about 40 telephone calls over the last three months about our policy towards Cambodia. The majority of correspondents were critical of what they understood to be our policy.
