§ Mr. CurryThe most recent 12-month period for which final figures are available is from July 1988 to June 1989 inclusive. Some 483,000 tonnes of butter were exported by the European Community, at prices ranging from about £150 per tonne for old intervention stock sold to the USSR, to around £1,100 per tonne for fresh product exported on to the world market.
