§ Mr. GummerMy Department's involvement in works in connection with the alleviation of flooding from the River Crane has been limited to giving agreement to the outline proposals for contract I which comprises the rebuilding of the channel of the tidal river downstream of Talbot Road bridge to its confluence with the Thames. No financial commitment has yet been requested or issued.
