§ Mr. Alan HowarthThe law places upon education authorities a duty to provide school playing fields in accordance with standards prescribed by the Education (School Premises) Regulations 1981, Statutory Instrument No. 909. Local education authorities are free to dispose of any surplus if they wish, and this is not a matter in which my hon. Friend can intervene.
