§ Mr. Wyn RobertsFunding for rescue archaeology is determined on an annual basis in consultation with the four archaeological trusts in Wales. The Department has specifically made available additional resources in respect of the recently discovered wetland site in Caldicot country536W park. To date our commitment to that particular site exceeds £40,000 and its future is the subject of discussions between the Department and the local authorities which own the site.
