§ Mrs. Gillian ShephardThe latest available information refers to 1986. At that time, 1989 gross incomes of £60 and £80 would have been the equivalent of £51.35 and £68.47 respectively. In 1986, 25 per cent. of single pensioners had gross incomes below £51.35 and 3 per cent. of pensioner couples had gross incomes below £68.47.
