§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonMy right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland has received a number of representations from individuals, Members of Parliament and organisations on rail links within Scotland and between Scotland and the Channel tunnel. The provision of such links is however a matter for British Rail and the terms of the representations have been made known to BR through contact at either ministerial or official level.
