To ask the Secretary of State for Health when he intends to issue an update of the Cox estimate of the number of HIV-positive individuals in England and Wales as at the end of 1987; and if he will make a statement.

The estimates of the Cox report are being considered by a group of experts. It is expected that the revised changes will be published early next year.
