§ Mr. BrookeOver the past three months I have had introductory meetings with the leaders of the Alliance 327W party of Northern Ireland, the Democratic Unionist party, the Social Democratic and Labour party, the Ulster Unionist party, the Ulster Popular Unionist party and the Workers party, and with other elected representatives. My meetings with the party leaders covered a wide range of subjects, including especially the prospects for achieving political progress in Northern Ireland.
