§ Mr. CurryThe total tonnages of cereal substitutes imported in to the United Kingdom in each of the last five years (1984–88) were set out in columns 284–85 of theOfficial Report for 10 April 1989 in response to an earlier question.
The 1988 total tonnage has now been revised to 1,108,000 tonnes. Nearly half of the total consists of maize gluten feed, almost all of which comes from the United States of America.
