To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will list the factors he took into account when announcing on 27 JulyOfficial Report, column 950, his decision to maintain the rates of payment for set-aside unchanged.

I see no reason to alter rates of payment which have attracted a good level of uptake in two successive years.
