§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyRegular formal and informal contact takes place between representatives of the United Kingdom and Irish Governments on particular aspects of the marine environment such as the falling discharge of radioactive substances or factors relevant to the management of fisheries. More wide-ranging discussions on the marine environment take place from time to time. The next such meeting of officials is scheduled for 24–25 May.
