§ Mr. Peter LloydThe Department will continue to pursue the equal opportunities policies and practices of the former Department of Health and Social Security. These follow the guidance in the codes of practice of the Commission for Racial Equality and the Equal Opportunities Commission and include the monitoring of personnel policies and procedures as set out in the codes of practice. Work is in hand to enable staff records, including ethnic origin data, to be separately identified from those for staff of the Department of Health.
