§ Mr. MellorImmunisation uptake figures for 1988–89 will not be available until later this year. However, from the launch of measles, mumps and rubella vaccine last October to the end of March, 1.4 million doses were distributed to health authorities. The number of children in the recommended priority groups (aged 15 months and four to five years) who became eligible for the vaccine in that period was 600,000.
