Where appropriate the cost of projects has been apportioned when the work involved both social security and health aspects.
Expenditure by the DHSS on computer and management consultancy in 1983–84 amounted to 0–623 million, but it is not possible to apportion this between the two Departments with any accuracy, or to differentiate between computer and management consultancy.
