§ Mr. Donald ThompsonUnited Kingdom dairy farmers paid some £53 million in milk co-responsibility levy in 1988–89. Following the reductions in the levy agreed in this year's farm price negotiations, it is currently estimated that their liability will be reduced to about £32 million in 1989–90.
