§ Mr. LuceThe Arts Council's Great Britain touring fund was established in 1987–88 with £1.5 million from the extra £5 million that I made available to the Council for Incentive Funding and Touring. In its first year, the fund enabled more than 60 extra weeks of touring across all art forms. Figures are not yet available for 1988–89, but they are expected to show a further increase.
