§ Mr. TrippierMy right hon. Friend has appointed a consortium led by Peat Marwick McLintock to discuss with local people the proposal for a trust in Sunderland. The cost of the contract will remain commercially confidential until it has been completed. No estimates have yet been made of the costs of a ballot which would be arranged by the Electoral Reform Society.
