§ Mr. EggarThe United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the focus for environmental co-operation within the United Nations. We recently more than doubled our voluntary financial contribution to UNEP, and are now the second largest contributor. We urge all other countries to take similar action and will reinforce this at the UNEP governing council on 15 to 26 May.
