§ Mr. Chris PattenMore than 14,350 overseas students were studying in the United Kingdom on ODA grants, or held grants from organisations financed from the aid programme, in the 1988–89 financial year. I shall arrange for a list of their countries of origin to be published in theOfficial Report. Comparable figures for 1983, 1978 and 1973 were 11,847, 14,387 and 14,970 respectively.
