To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what animal health issues have been discussed by the Council of Ministers during the second half of 1988 and 1989.

The following issues have been discussed during this periodthe recognition of parts of the Community as officially free from classical swine fever; the recognition of parts of Spain as free from African swine fever; the socio-economic implications of the use of antibiotics and Bovine Somatrophin in dairy production; and the combating of Aujeszky's Disease.
