Member for Waveney of 19 April,Official Report column 229, he will now make it his policy to hold centrally a list of all local authorities which operate businesses in competition with the private sector and the nature of each business concerned.
§ Mr. GummerNo. No useful purpose would be served by such a list. It is for each local authority to decide how to use their statutory powers.
