§ Mr. NeedhamUrban development grant, funded by the Government, is available in Belfast and Londonderry. Similar grants under the first urban development programme funded by the international fund for Ireland and administered by the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland were available in 22 district towns, and in the urban areas of Castlereagh and Newtownabbey. Under the second urban development programme announced in November 1988 grants in addition may be offered to exceptional projects in other urban areas.
