The training standards advisory service has issued 748 reports on the quality of training in individual YTS schemes to approved training organisations and Training Agency area and regional offices since the service began its formal programme of inspections in April 1987. The annual report of the training standards advisory service for 1987–88 summarised the main findings from inspections carried out by the service during its first year of operation. A copy has been placed in the Library.
The training standards advisory service has not published any reports on health and safety standards in YTS schemes.
