To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if, in his discussions with his counterpart, and other Ministers of the Federal German Government, in Frankfurt on 21–22 February, he specifically addressed the implications for article VI compliance of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty of any modernisation programme of short-range nuclear missiles for NATO member states party to the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
