§ Mr. TrippierIt was envisaged that the duration of the first two urban development corporations (London Docklands and Merseyside) would be about 15 years; the duration of the second generation of UDCs (black country, Teeside, Trafford park, and Tyne and Wear) is expected to be about a decade and the third generation (Bristol, Central Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield) about five to seven years. No dates have been fixed for the dissolution of any corporation.
