§ 48. Mr. FraserTo ask the Minister for the Arts if he will consider regular giving of Government funds for sponsorship of new buildings to house the performing and other arts.
§ Mr. LuceSponsorship of new or refurbished buildings by businesses is eligible for matching under the Government's business sponsorship incentive scheme in the same way as other arts activities. In 1988–89 such projects attracted over £100,000 in awards.
