§ The Solicitor-GeneralThe reconstitution of the north-east London area advisory committee is a routine matter. All the Lord Chancellor's advisory committees on the appointment of justices are subject to a similar process every three years. Appointments are made by the Lord Chancellor on the recommendation of the chairman. The purpose is to obtain a balance of new and experienced members who broadly reflect the composition of the area served.
