§ Mr. MellorChairmen are entitled to receive remuneration which currently stands at £11,868 a year. They may as an alternative choose to claim financial loss allowance. Members do not receive remuneration, although in certain circumstances they may claim financial loss allowance. Both chairmen and members are entitled to claim travelling and subsistence allowances.
