§ Mr. NewtonI last met task force leaders as a group at their half-yearly meeting in Liverpool on Friday 9 December. Our discussions ranged over a variety of matters, including the importance of developing the capacity of local groups and community organisations to build on task forces' work after the departure of the task forces themselves. I have subsequently met on other occasions the task force leaders in Preston, Rochdale, Doncaster, Hartlepool, Leeds and Middlesbrough.
