§ Mr. ForthThe provisions of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 were adopted after careful consideration with all affected parties. Consultations are continuing on matters arising from the Commission's Green Paper. We shall therefore be well placed to represent the interests of the United Kingdom in negotiations on any proposals for Community legislation in this area.
