Whether the objects named in Lord Kennet's recent question about the Outer Space Treaty, which was answered by Lord Trefgarne on 1st March (Official Report, col. 1133), fall into the categories described in that Answer.
§ Lord GlenarthurIf any of the objects referred to in the noble Lord's recent Question were deployed in space, it would be for the parties to the Outer Space Treaty to decide whether or not they fell into the categories described in the Answer to that Question. Any dispute about interpretation of the treaty would be subject to the usual methods of peaceful settlement of disputes.
