§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyMeasures to promote unleaded petrol are co-ordinated by the unleaded petrol group, which I chair. The Government provide a range of information and publicity material. On Friday, I launched Tyne and Wear lead-free petrol week, one of a series of national and local weeks which we support. Other initiatives are being pursued. Motability has responded to our request for help in encouraging the wider use of unleaded petrol: its campaign has the full support of Government.
