§ Mr. Dobson
To ask the Lord President of the Council what is the latest figure for(a) the estimated expenditure by the Privy Council Office on press and public relations during 1988–89 and (b) the budget for 1989–90.

§ Mr. Wakeham
(a) £1,017; (b) Approximately £1,200.

§ Mr. Dobson
To ask the Lord President of the Council whether any staff will be employed in press or public relations roles in the office of the Privy Council in 1989–90.

§ Mr. Wakeham
I have no plans to employ such staff.
