§ Mr. ParkinsonWater for the Department's head office building is supplied from a borehole and the quality does 21W not meet the requirements of the EC directive. The premises are to be refurbished later this year and I understand that the water supply then will be taken from Thames water authority's public mains supply.
In the meantime, point of use filters have been installed to improve the quality of the drinking water.
