To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much has been paid in corporation tax in the United Kingdom by lower rate small companies in each of the last five fiscal years.

Estimates of mainstream corporation tax paid at the small companies rate are as follows:

Over the same period, total receipts of mainstream corporation tax are estimated to have risen from £4.1 billion to £10.8 billion.
