§ Mr. Donald ThompsonIt will be necessary to extend the provisions of the 1974 order to cover animals imported through the Channel tunnel but I have no other plans for any changes. The Government support the objective of eradicating rabies from the Community as a whole, but our stringent rabies controls, including quarantine, will remain in force for as long as necessary to maintain our freedom from this disease.
