To ask the Attorney-General what is the current annual cost of administering the Lord Chancellor's Department, broken down by convenient category.

§ The Attorney-General
Based on expenditure to date of £240.3 million, the Lord Chancellor's Department estimates full utilisation of the provision of £283.2 million for the current financial year for administration of the courts and other offices. This figure is broken down by convenient category in Supply Estimates for 1988–89.
