Department of Employment figures show that 2,230 jobs were lost in the 41 firms which closed in the seven years 1981 to 1988 where closures were required to be notified to that Department.
§ Mr. LeightonTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when the London Docklands development corporation will receive the payments derived from enhanced land values to pay for the extension of the Docklands light railways.
