§ Mr. MellorThroughout the world much research into HIV infection among male and female prostitutes is in progress. Studies so far completed show widely differing results. A number of studies are under way in several major cities in the United Kingdom which should help to provide more information in the future from which to make estimates of the prevalence of HIV in prostitutes.
